I've had quite a few people tell me many of the comments I got from the atheists are some of the same things they believed (or didn't believe) when they were still unbelievers. Actually, the scripture that comes to mind is..."While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" Praise God for Jesus!

What a unique perspective you've given to atheism. also used to be of the atheistic camp and I have to say, many of the comments and responses to your questions could have come from my own mouth years ago.

Hi Tami, I am so glad you left a message (FB...I know! LOL). I didn't leave a message on your last post about wisdom and revelation (sorry). I want to say that I admire your love for the Lord, and you're an inspiration too!

Yes, people are watching, and the Lord layed that upon my spirit - Even though we are weak, it's His strength that keeps us going! All the glory to Him!!

Great post Lori! I haven't been by in awhile (sucked into FB world) and for whatever reason instead of going there came here :^) Reading about this caused me to think on my own extended family and members who share that type of view- sad. You are an inspiration! My husband and I were talking last week and he made the comment that he was frustrated with my years of suffering Fibro, Arthritis and colon issues (and some other stuff). He said he was actually mad at God because he's seen me pray to God, read my Bible and study daily for many years but I am still afflicted. I told him that there are people in this world a lot worse off than me and that God has been incredibly good to me. Yes, I'd love to be healed but He is using it for good and is taking what the enemy meant for harm and turning it around and maybe even blessing others through watching how I deal with it. Just as others watch how you deal with the affliction in your body.

God bless you mightily my friend & Sister. Before I went to read or even think about reading your blog today- the Lord led me to pray for you :^) I pray blessing upon blessing to you today as well as healing through your body pleading the blood. Regardless of whether we are healed or not- I thank Father God that He will use it all for good! In Jesus Christ's wonderful name, AMEN.

Very interesting article Lori. So often I think we ignore the views of atheists and miss out on some great conversations where the Light can shine so very bright.

So true. The Light is even more intense and beautiful when surrounded by darkness. If you know what I mean.

Lori, when bad things happened in my life (before Christ) I would think it was simply my bad luck. But now, (after Christ) I see it as God giving me a tough dose of discipline and a strong dose of how strong my faith, trust and dependence is on Him.
