Be careful not to condemn those who &quot;go through religious motions&quot;, because many do so with a complete and sincere heart in love with Christ. Spontaneity in worship also does not constitute sincerity. Only God knows the ways of a man&#39;s heart, and whether worship is organized or sporadic, only the Lord knows whether or not the relationship is sincere. Being religious does not mean one is not a true Christian - especially in cultures outside the US where Christ has been worshipped much longer. Religion is a bad word only to those who do not understand it - whether they are practicers of it or observers only.
