Upside Down - Short film from the message Right Christmas

December 11, 2009

Short film from the message Right Christmas. This piece is a powerful reading, the words scrolling up as they are audibly read. The reading starts from the perspective of a person who is clearly a non-believer full of doubt telling of his "reality" of Christmas. It seems to come to an end there. But then Jesus turns it all upside down. The very same reading is read once again from bottom to top proclaiming the glory of the birth of the Christ. It is integrated with background music.

That film was great.
I love the device of the sentence
structure forward then backward.
Very effective.
Where did you find it?
Youtube?

"Let us never forget that the Husbandman is never so near the land as when he is plowing it, the very time when we are tempted to think He hath forsaken us. His plowing is a proof that He thinks you of value, and worth chastening: for He does not waste His plowing on the barren sand. He will not plow continually, but only for a time, and for a definite purpose. Soon, aye soon, we shall, through these painful processes and by His gentle showers of grace, become His fruitful land."
