I Lift Up My Hands

December 21, 2009

Father, I love you
My heart is filled with desire to see
Your power
and glory
cover the earth
as the waters clothe the sea
I am surrounded by the fortress of God
totally surrendered to you

I lift up my hands
standing unashamed
I worship You Father
exalting Your name
You've captured my heart
now my life has changed
I lift up my hands, I lift up my hands

This song was on my lips when I sat down to type the continuation of my friendship post. I feel in my spirit that today, God wants me to post this video/song so others can sing this too. He wants us to worship, and the Bible is so clear... He inhabits the praises of His people!

Whatever is weighing you down today, let it go and just focus on God.

Hi Skipper. Hi Tamela. One of my favorite worship songs- deep calling to deep. Thanks for your comments! Merry Christmas to you both! God bless!

"Let us never forget that the Husbandman is never so near the land as when he is plowing it, the very time when we are tempted to think He hath forsaken us. His plowing is a proof that He thinks you of value, and worth chastening: for He does not waste His plowing on the barren sand. He will not plow continually, but only for a time, and for a definite purpose. Soon, aye soon, we shall, through these painful processes and by His gentle showers of grace, become His fruitful land."
